Client-reported bugs don't count toward your active tasks.
Bug fixes, error reports, support tickets, and stability issues are handled immediately and prioritized over new builds. Your task queue stays focused on shipping; your clients' systems stay stable. No clever billing tricks.
02 / What counts

What's a task,
what isn't.

A "task" is a new build or substantial implementation. Reactive work - bugs, edits, support questions - is handled separately and never counts against your tier limit. Most agencies who hit their task limit are shipping new things, not putting out fires.

✓ A task is
  • +A new funnel, website, or landing page build
  • +A new workflow or automation system
  • +A new integration setup (Zapier, Make, n8n, API)
  • +A custom HighLevel snapshot or sub-account setup
  • +A new AI chatbot or voice bot deployment
  • +An A2P registration submission
  • +A new ad tracking setup (Meta, Google, YouTube)
  • +Custom HTML / CSS / JavaScript (Team+)
  • +Custom development or API build (Agency)
- Not a task
  • ×Bug fixes reported by you or your clients
  • ×Workflow or automation troubleshooting
  • ×Minor copy or content edits to existing builds
  • ×Quick support questions from your team
  • ×System monitoring & deliverability checks
  • ×Configuration tweaks on existing setups
  • ×Account or sub-account access management
  • ×Light edits to live funnels or workflows
03 / The math

Compare to hiring
one senior in-house.

Most agencies treat "hire a HighLevel dev" as the obvious path to scaling fulfillment. But the real cost of an in-house technical hire isn't the salary line - it's everything around it. Here's what one senior costs against what you get from the Agency tier.

Hiring in-house
One senior HighLevel developer.
  • Senior dev salary (US average)$110,000
  • Payroll taxes + benefits (~20%)$22,000
  • Tools, hardware, software stack$3,000
  • Recruitment + onboarding (Y1)$15,000
  • Management overhead$5,000
First year, fully loaded
~$155,000
≈ $12,900/month
  • One person. Generalist by necessity across all of HighLevel.
  • Takes vacation. Gets sick. Eventually leaves.
  • 3-6 month ramp before full productivity.
  • Fixed overhead even when ticket queue is light.
  • You manage them - performance, growth, retention.
AE Agency tier
A specialist team. Day one.
  • Monthly retainer$3,500
  • Payroll, benefits, taxes$0
  • Tools, hardware, software$0
  • Recruitment + onboarding$0
  • Management overhead$0
First year, all in
$42,000
$3,500/month
  • 57 in-house specialists - CRM, automation, integrations, frontend, AI, dev.
  • HighLevel Certified. No ramp time, no learning curve.
  • Up to 10 active tasks running in parallel.
  • Scale up, scale down, pause anytime.
  • We manage the team. You ship the work.
~$113,000 saved in Year 1. Plus access to a full team of specialists rather than one generalist - with no fixed overhead when your ticket queue is light, and no hiring risk when it's not.
04 / Expectations

What's not
included.

Honest framing of what you don't get inside the retainer - so there are no surprises. Most of these are either your agency's job, your client's job, or scoped as separate engagements when relevant.

-
Marketing strategy & positioning consulting
Your agency owns the strategy. We execute on the technical side.
-
Lead generation campaigns or media buying
We do ad tracking setup. We don't run the campaigns themselves. Scoped separately if you need it.
-
Pure design work without a build
We build to your design system or Figma file. We're builders, not a design studio.
-
Large platform builds outside HighLevel
We build inside HighLevel and the surrounding stack. Standalone SaaS-style builds are scoped as separate projects.
-
Direct client account management
You own the client relationship. We join calls when you want us to, but we don't manage your clients for you.
-
Recruiting or hiring on your behalf
We are your technical team. We don't help you build a different internal one.

Tasks queue up. As soon as one finishes, the next starts automatically. If you consistently need more parallel capacity than your tier supports, we'll proactively suggest moving up a tier or running a custom pod with expanded allocation. No surprise overage fees, no clever billing.

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately - you get expanded capacity within the same business day. Downgrades take effect on your next billing cycle. Pausing works the same way: pause anytime, resume anytime, no penalty.

No. Month-to-month from day one. We do recommend a 3-month soft minimum so your dedicated team can fully ramp on your snapshots, voice, and client mix - but it's a recommendation, not a contract. Cancel whenever, no questions asked.

You get full access to your chosen tier's capacity for 14 days at no cost. Our HighLevel Certified team picks up your first task within 24 hours of signup. No credit card required to start - we only ask for billing details if you decide to continue past the trial. If you don't, the trial ends, no charge, no follow-up sales pressure.

On day 15, if you've decided to continue, you're billed for your first full month at your chosen tier. If you cancel before then, no charge, no card on file, no obligation. After the trial, you're on month-to-month - cancel, pause, or change tiers anytime.

No setup fees. No onboarding fees. No "configuration" fees. No per-task surcharges. The retainer price you see is the retainer price you pay. The only thing that ever changes the number is moving up or down a tier - and that's your call.

Yes. The Agency tier covers most agencies with up to ~50 active sub-accounts. Above that - multi-region operations, very high ticket volume, or dedicated specialist requirements - we structure custom engagements with expanded pods and tailored SLAs. Book a discovery call to scope.

We also take scoped one-time projects - full CRM migrations, custom platform builds, complex multi-platform integration projects, AI-powered embedded apps. Those are quoted as fixed-fee engagements and don't require an ongoing retainer. Mention it on the discovery call and we'll scope it.

Always. Mutual NDA before scoping anything specific. Standard practice for white-label work, and we treat it as such - not as an upsell or a friction point.

Trial first,
or call first.

Either works. The trial gets your first task in motion within 24 hours of signup. The call is a 30-minute scope conversation if you'd rather walk through fit before starting.
